If you’re reading this, you most likely saw an “Easy DIY Natural Dye” project on Pinterest but are now surrounded by mushy dye pots and soggy fabric, mid-primal scream, and wondering what the hell went wrong.
Turns out, I love some self-care. I not only love it, I’m now constantly looking for little ways to squeeze more into my daily routine… including trashing my Valentine’s Day bouquet to make a DIY rose and Meyer lemon salt scrub, much to my boyfriend’s confusion.
How’s a girl to creatively upcycle tons of wrapping paper? How about making pretty DIY paper crowns for New Years Eve with her 10-year-old niece?! We actually did this all on Christmas afternoon and our whole family each wore a crown for Christmas dinner. It added such a fun and playful aspect to our holiday, we may have to turn this into a tradition!
